The DPS Course is designed to train teachers and appointed school personal how to respond to an Active Shooter. The course is 18.0 hours of classroom and range instruction consisting of written examinations, practical exercises and proficiency demonstrations – live fire administered over a two-day period.

Just one segment of the course deals with response to an active shooter by utilizing available assets, common items around you.
