BASIC: NRA Level II Course – Classroom: 4.0 Hours
RANGE QUALIFICATION: Live Fire 2.5 Hours at the Range
PLEASE BRING YOUR UNLOADED WEAPON TO CLASS. UPON ENTRY, YOUR WEAPON WILL BE CLEARED AGAIN AND INSPECTED. IT WILL BE STORED IN YOUR GUN CASE UNTIL WE GO THROUGH MANIPULATION AND DRY FIRE EXERCISES. IT WILL NOT BE HANDLED OR DISPLAYED AT ANY OTHER TIME IN THE CLASSROOM PORTION OF THE COURSE.
NO AMMUNITION IS ALLOWED IN THE CLASSROOM.
WHAT TO BRING
FIREARMS: .380 ACP is the smallest Caliber permitted at any level of training in any of our pistol training courses. All weapons must be clean, properly lubricated and in good operating order for their use on the Range. All weapons will be re-inspected prior to use at the Range. Please bring a Tea Towel or a Pistol Shooting Mat for your weapon and ammunition.
AMMUNITION: All ammunition used must be listed on the Sporting Arms Ammunition Manufacturing Institute List, (saami.org), i.e., Federal, PMC, Remington, and Winchester to name a few. No Re-Loads are permitted for Liability Reasons. The course calls for 200 rounds. Please bring additional rounds in the event of malfunctions or failures.
